Personal Data
New Wine is fully committed to compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and will therefore follow procedures which aim to ensure that all New Wine employees and volunteers or others serving New Wine who need to have access to any personal data held by or on behalf of New Wine are fully aware of and abide by their duties under the General Data Protection Regulation. We rely on Legitimate Interest as the lawful basis for processing personal data to this platform. The data we process is freely provided by the data subject at the point of account registration. We request the minimum amount of data to carry out the processes requested by the data subject, and do not share this data outside of our organisation or that of our data processor (Churchsuite).
We securely store the details you provide for your New Wine Leadership Network membership with Churchsuite which is a UK based, GDPR compliant online data processor.
Access to the data held is limited to New Wine employees (and a controlled list of volunteers or others serving New Wine who need to have access) and Churchsuite as our data processor for the purpose of system support and management only. This access is restricted by a data protection contract between New Wine Trust and ChurchSuite which prohibits data sharing.
The data is used solely to manage your membership, including communication about New Wine events, ministry preferences or area gatherings related to that membership. You are given the opportunity to manage your own personal data from within your New Wine Leadership Network account record held on the ChurchSuite platform, together with your communication preferences. You also have the option to unsubscribe from the platform altogether.
